Out by myself at 9:45 am. Seems the first quarter mile is always the hardest. One stretch the locust sounds were near deafening. The sidewalks were dry but there was still wet grass and mud from the rain the previous two days. I saw some wet foot prints that came out of the grass of both people and animals.
